Paul McGuinness
Paul, a native of Crossmolina Co. Mayo, is our tax director. Paul is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser (AITI CTA) and heads up our taxation department.
Prior to moving to Galway, he worked under a past president of the Institute of Taxation with LHM Casey McGrath in Dublin. Paul has substantial experience and extensive technical knowledge across all tax heads. Over the last twenty years he has developed extensive real-life experience in tax planning for High-Net-Worth Individuals, businesses and estates. Paul has extensive experience in the area of revenue audits and has dealt with a number of successful appeal hearings and legal challenges for clients. Paul has a keen interest in sport and having won the All-Ireland club football title in 2001 with Crossmolina he is currently involved in his local GAA club, Claregalway, managing underage teams.
In addition to the above, the practice has a team of dedicated professionals comprising of qualified and trainee accountants. The overall FCC organisation has the necessary skills and experience in order to meet the audit, accounting and taxation needs of all of our clients in a timely and efficient manner while delivering a quality professional service.
